10.11 Wall Mounting the Charging Unit
The charging unit is also designed to be wall mounted. Before mounting the
charging unit, consider the following:
m Select a location away from electrical cables, pipes, or other items behind
the mounting location that could cause a hazard when inserting screws into
the wall.
m Make sure the wall material can support the weight of the charging unit.
m Use #10 screws with anchoring devices suitable for the wall material where
the charging unit will be placed.
To mount the charging unit:
1. Insert two mounting screws one inch apart. Allow about 3/16 of an inch
between the wall and screw heads for mounting the telephone.
2. Plug the AC adapter into the charging unit. Wrap the AC adapter cord
around the strain relief.
