The ML440/AP300 chapter outlines the steps for connecting and mounting the base
station, charging the battery and powering on the handset.
11.1 Connecting the Base Station
. If your network connection does not provide Power Over Ethernet, you will need to
order a base station AC adapter and a standard Ethernet-to-PoE adapter. Contact
Customer Service.

11.1.1 Install the Base Station
1. Connect a standard Ethernet cable (Cat 5 or higher) to the
Ethernet/PoE jack on the rear of the base station.
