Introduction
This section summarizes the safety information for the HD11 Ultrasound System.
About Safety
Information
Please read this and related information before using or servicing a Philips ultra-
sound system. It applies to the ultrasound system, transducers, recording devices, and any
optional equipment.
This system is intended for use by, or by the order of, and under the supervision of a licensed
physician qualified to direct the use of the device.
In this manual, WARNING is used to indicate the presence of a hazard that can cause personal
injury, death, or substantial property damage if the warning is ignored.
In this manual, CAUTION is used to indicate the presence of a hazard that can cause equip-
ment damage if the caution is ignored.
In this manual, NOTE is used when additional comment or explanation is required about instal-
