5 Installation
Introduction This section contains pre-installation and installation information for the HD11 ultrasound sys-
tem. On-site installation consists of a pre-installation site check, uncrating and unpacking the sys-
tem, physically installing the monitor (and VCR, color printer, or both if purchased), and verifying
that the system is configured properly. Read this section completely before starting the system
installation.
NOTE After physical installation is complete, it is necessary and important to power on the
system, to verify that it is configured properly, and to do a functional check.
