If "inch only" is selected on the machine uses inch-based resolutions for scanning,
the printed copy may be slightly distorted at the other end if that machine uses
mm-based resolutions.
If the setting is "Inch-mm conversion available ", Inch-mm conversion become
effective to the special senders.
If the setting is "Disabled", the bit switch setting is used.

(0, 1): Use this setting if echoes on the line are interfering with the set-up protocol
at the start of transmission. The machine will then wait for the second DIS or NSF
before sending DCS or NSS.
If the setting is "Disabled", the bit switch setting is used.
If transmissions to a specific destination always end at a lower modem rate
(14,400 bps or lower), disable V.8 protocol so as not to use V.34 protocol.
0: V.34 communication will not be possible.
If the setting is "Disabled", the bit switch setting is used.
