12.2| STORAGE
Keep the clean, dry pressure cooker in a clean,
dry and protected environment.
1| Remove the lid

2| Pull the seal ring

out of the pot rim and
store separately.
3| Remove the lid handle

12.3| MAINTENANCE / REPLACING
WEAR PARTS
Keep the clean, dry pressure cooker in a clean,
dry and protected environment.
Side handle and handle only to be replaced by
the WMF specialist dealer / Service centre.
Check wear parts regularly and replace with
original parts if necessary.
Replace the seal ring and cooking indica-
tor seal with original spare parts if they are
damaged, hardened, discoloured or if they no
longer fit properly.
12.4| REPLACING THE SEAL RING
Keep the clean, dry pressure cooker in a clean,
dry and protected environment.
1| Remove the lid

as described in Section 6.1.
2| Turn the lid

over.
3| Remove the defective seal ring

from the
pot rim and dispose of it.
4| Insert new original seal ring
21
into the pot's
rim and carefully press under the rim.
The seal ring
21
must be positioned com-
pletely under the curved rim of the pot.
12.5| REPLACING THE COOKING
INDICATOR SEAL
Keep the clean, dry pressure cooker in
a clean, dry and protected
environment.
1| If necessary, remove the lid

from the pot
as described in Section 6.1.
2| Take the lid apart (see image series G). Turn
the lid

over to do this.
3| Hold the lid
6
and press the handle locking
device

towards the end of the handle.
4| Remove the lid handle

5| Remove the cooking indicator seal

from the lid handle

and dispose of it
(see Image J).
12.6| REPLACING THE SAFETY VALVE
1| Remove the lid

from the pot as described
in Section 6.1.
2| Turn the lid

over.
3| Remove the defective safety valve

from
the lid of the pot

and dispose of it.
4| Carefully push the new safety valve

through the opening from the inside using a
little pressure and slight turning movements.
The safety valve must not become damaged
while doing so.
TIP Some cooking oil can be applied to the head
of the safety valve to make it easier to slide and
insert.
