Code Name Causes Possible Solutions
Uv2 Control Power Undervoltage
The value set in L2-02 [Power Loss Ride Through
Time] increased and the momentary power loss
recovery unit is not connected to the drive.
Connect the momentary power loss recovery unit to the drive.
There was a problem with the drive hardware. • Re-energize the drive.
• If the fault stays, replace the control board or the drive. For
information about replacing the control board, contact
Yaskawa or your nearest sales representative.
Note:
• The drive detects this error if the control power supply voltage decreases.
• Do a Fault Reset to clear the fault.
• Fault trace is not available for this fault.
Code Name Causes Possible Solutions
Uv3 Soft Charge Answerback Fault
There is damage to the relay or contactor on the
soft-charge bypass relay.
• Re-energize the drive.
• If the fault stays, replace the control board or the drive.
• Monitor U4-06 [PreChargeRelayMainte] shows the
performance life of the soft-charge bypass relay. If U4-06 is
more than 90%, replace the board or the drive. For information
about replacing the control board, contact Yaskawa or your
nearest sales representative.
Air inside the drive is too hot. Decrease the ambient temperature of the drive.
