Standby Mode
Use Standby Mode to decrease the power off/on time while
transporting your system for a portable exam.
To place the system in standby mode:
1. Press the Power On/Off switch at the front of the system
once.
2. The System-Exit window displays.
3. Using the Trackball, select Standby.
It takes approximately 20 seconds to go into Standby Mode.
4. Transport the system as needed and plug it back in.
See ‘Moving the System’ for more information.
5. Press and immediately release the Power On/Off switch to
come out of Standby Mode. This takes about 45 seconds.
NOTE: If the Power On/Off switch is pressed too long, the system
shuts down instead of coming out of Standby Mode.
NOTE: It takes about four hours to fully recharge the battery.
