5.) In this step, you can choose if you want to do a complete Vivid 7 installation or if you only want to
update or reinstall the software on the C:\ partition (C:\ drive).
Usually it should be OK to select “B” to update the C:\ drive only. This will keep Patient Archive and
Presets intact.
a.) Select B to update/re-install the software on the C:\ partition. (Only data on the C:\ partition will
be erased. This will keep Patient Archive and Presets intact.)
b.) Use “A” ONLY if a “B” update cannot be used: Select A to do a complete Vivid 7 software
installation. (All data will be erased.)
c.) Press C if you want to Exit.
NOTICE
If you select “A” in the next step, ALL existing software and data will be erased. If backup has
not been performed as described earlier in this manual; All data like Patient Database, System
Configuration and User Configurations (Customer Presets) will be lost.
