AC Power Replacement Procedure
8-11-1 Manpower
One person, 1 hour.

#2 Phillips screwdriver
8-11-3 Preparations
1.) Shut down the system, see 4-2-3 "Power Shut Down" on page 4-7.
2.) Remove Right Side Cover, see "Side Covers Removal Procedure" on page 8-4.
3.) Remove Filter Cover, see "Upper Rear Cover Removal Procedure" on page 8-6.
4.) Remove Lower Rear Cover, see "Lower Rear Cover Removal Procedure" on page 8-10.
NOTE: The Power Supply, as delivered in a Vivid 7, has been configured for either 115 VAC or 230
VAC. Do not interchange the two types and don’t try to reconfigure the Power Supply for use
on another voltage; the Mains Circuit Breaker are different between the two types.
5.) Do this step if the intention is to change to another AC Power Supply:
- Record the voltage for the AC Power Supply being replaced (see label on rear of system).
___ - 115VAC or ___ - 230VAC.
DANGER
Dangerous voltages are present in this equipment. Completely power off and
shut down the scanner before servicing.
