Chapter 8 Mandatory Setting for Motor Drive and Test Run
8-2-3
When operating by inputting RUN command and frequency command from control terminal
(1) Before test run, confirm that each parameter is set correctly according to "8.1 Mandatory
Setting for Operation".
(2) Set [F001], [A001], [A002], [C001], and [C002] as shown in the table below.
It is recommended that "Output frequency setting or monitor [F001]" is set to a low speed of
approximately 10Hz for safety at the first time.
(3) Monitor the output frequency with [d001] and confirm that "0.00" (Hz) is displayed.
(4) Check with [F001] that the analogue voltage is 0VDC and the frequency command is 0.00
(Hz). When the forward [FW] input terminal or reverse [RV] input terminal is turned ON, the
running LED [RUN] of keypad lights.
(5) When the analogue voltage, which is a frequency command, is gradually increased, the motor
starts to rotate.
(6) Check there are any abnormalities in output frequency monitor, actual motor rotation speed,
motor rotation direction, and inverter. The motor rotation direction can be checked by
"Rotation direction monitor [d003]".
(7) After checking the operation, turn OFF the forward [FW] input terminal or reverse [RV] input
terminal. The motor starts decelerating and after stopping, the running LED [RUN] on keypad
turns off.
