7. Grasp the RE module by the ejector handles and slide it about halfway out of the
chassis.
8. Taking care not to touch the leads, pins, or solder connections, place one hand
underneath the RE module to support it and slide it completely out of the chassis.
9. Place the RE module in the antistatic bag or on the antistatic mat.
CAUTION: Do not stack hardware components on one another after you
remove them. Place each component on an antistatic mat resting on a
stable, flat surface.
NOTE: To maintain proper airflow through the chassis, do not leave an
Switch Fabric module (SF module) installed in the chassis without an RE
module for extended periods of time. If you remove an RE module, install
a replacement RE module as soon as possible.
Figure 70 on page 226 shows removing an RE module from an EX9204 switch. The
procedure is the same for all EX9200 switches.
