6.2.2 Controller protection by current derating
Valid for the types 9326 to 9332.
For rotating-field frequencies < 5 Hz the controller automatically derates the maximum permissible
output current.
For operation with switching frequency = 8 kHz (C0018=1, power-optimised):
The current is derating depends on the heatsink temperature (see Fig. 6-2).
For operation with switching frequency = 16 kHz (C0018=2, noise-optimised):
The current is always derated to I

For operation with automatic changeover of the switching frequency (C0018=0):
Below the threshold, the controller operates with 16 kHz (noise-optimised). The function of
the current derating follows the characteristic Imax 16 kHz (see Fig. 6-2).
If a higher torque is required from the machine for example for acceleration, the controller
automatically switches to 8 kHz (power-optimised). The function of the current derating
follows the characteristic Imax 8 kHz (see Fig. 6-2).
