5.8 Enter travel profile parameters
5.8.1 Structure of a positioning program
The positioning program consists of max. 32 program sets (PS).
The sequence of processing the PS within the positioning program can be freely selected.
The positioning sequence is determined by the PS. The functions are processed in a defined
sequence (see Fig. 5-14). These functions include:
Type of positioning (relative or absolute positioning with or without touch probe)
Speed profile of the positioning
Access to data in the variable tables (VT).
Reaction on external events via digital inputs (PFI)
Processing of waiting times
Repetition of number of pieces
Output of control signals via digital outputs (PFO)

The positioning is done with the travel profile parameters. These parameters are included in
the variable table (VT). The following VTs are available:
VTPOS for the target position
VTVEL for the positioning speed and final speed
VTACC for the acceleration and deceleration
VTPCS for the number of pieces or repeat function
VTTIME for the waiting time
