3.2.1 Definition of direction information
Basic rule Direction information always depends on whether the carrier or the super-
structure is being operated.
On the carrier
The driver's cab is always at the front, which means that:
Forwards always means with driver's cab leading.
Backwards always means the rear lights on the carrier are to the front.
On the superstructure
The main boom head is always at the front, which means that:
Switches and
buttons
For switches and buttons, the terms bottom and top are used.
Regardless of the fitting position (vertical, horizontal, diagonal, perpendicu-
lar or turned), the following always applies:
1: Front 2: Right
3: Rear 4: Left
1: Front 2: Right
3: Rear 4: Left
– Down: press in at (1) – next to the symbol
–Up: press in at (2) – opposite the symbol
