9.2 Starting the engine – with the hand-held control
Prerequisites You can only start the engine, if:
– The bridging plug is inserted in all unneeded sockets;
à p. 9 - 4 and
– The ignition in the driver's cab is switched off.
Start the engine All checks required before starting the engine must be carried out;
à p. 4 - 1.
• Wait until the lamps (1) and (2) light up.
If the lamp (2) does not light up or flash after about 20 seconds, there is a
malfunction;
à p. 14 - 21.
Press the button (3) once – the engine will start.

If the hand-held control is connected to the superstructure, you cannot drive
the power units from the crane cab.
