14.3.3 Warning messages on the RCL display
The buzzer tone sounds once when the RCL
detects a malfunction.
Lamps (3) and (4) light up.
A symbol is displayed, e.g. the symbol (1). If
several warning messages exist, all of the cor-
responding symbols are displayed one after
the other in consecutive order.
• Perform the following checks if a symbol is
displayed.
– Main boom angle too small
Raise the main boom;
à Derricking gear, p. 8 - 115.
– Main boom angle too large
Lower the main boom;
à Derricking gear, p. 8 - 115.

Risk of damage if warning messages are disregarded!
Observe the following information in good time and take the appropriate
remedial measures if a warning message appears. This prevents these
malfunctions causing defects in the truck crane.

Risk of accidents due to overridden or faulty RCL!
Only override the RCL if it becomes absolutely necessary in order to lower
the load in the event of an emergency.
Do not carry out any movements which increase the load moment in the
event of a faulty or overridden RCL.
If the RCL is overridden, the crane operations are not monitored and no
shutdown procedures are initiated when leaving the working range.
