5.5 Separate steering

Switching off the separate steering is possible during standstill and while
travelling, up to a speed of approx. 5 km/h (3 mph).
Switching to normal steering mode
• Turn the wheels to the Straight ahead position
– current wheel position is displayed.
• Select and confirm the symbol (4) – symbol
is white.
The symbol (3) is also displayed.
After the switchover to normal steering mode
the symbols (5) turn green – steering locked.
If the symbols (5) are yellow:
Steer using the button (2) or the steering
wheel (1) until the symbols (5) become green.
