Announced Transfer
DESCRIPTION:
Announced Transfer automatically puts the call on System Hold so that the transferring extension can
notify the receiving extension before actually sending the call. To receive an Announced Transfer,
receiving extension just wait on the line to be automatically connected to the transferred caller. Both the
transferring and receiving extensions receive a "fast flash" Hold indication, making the call easy to
identify, while all other KTSs see a "slow flash." If the call is not sent within the Announced Transfer
Recall interval, the call then shows a "slow flash" at the receiving extension, and re-rings the transferring
extension.
