Diesel engine
– This pipe is not commercially available, but may be self-made without any problem.
It should be long enough to reach the bottom of the cartridge.
– Set the pressure reducer to max. 5 bar and blow out the filter cartridge with dry
compressed air until no more dust comes out. During blowing out, constantly move
the compressed air gun up and down and constantly rotate the filter.
ADVICE
The tip of the pipe should not come into contact with the filter paper! Before refitting
the cleaned main element must be carefully examined for damage to the paper bel-
lows and seals.
