Introduction to the CMK
The CMK takes carton blanks and erects them (Areas 1-5). Bags, filled with product,
are transported to the CMK and the CMK inserts the bags into the cartons (Area 6).
The CMK closes and seals the cartons (Areas 7-11) and transfers them to
downstream equipment for further processing (Area 12).

Shows the typical sequence of operations for the CMK.
General Process
Areas 1-5: Carton blanks feed in and are erected.
Area 6: Prepackaged products are pushed into the cartons.
Areas 7-11: The cartons are closed and sealed.
Area 12: The cartons are transferred to downstream equipment.
Note: Machines may vary due to individual design requirements. Specific machine
design and may be different from the figure shown above.
