Bagger Sync Parameters
Parameter Description
Bagger 1 Sync Pulse Position This determines when, within the appropriate cycle, the
cartoner will send the signal to the bagger to begin producing
product.
Bagger 1 Sync Start Bucket This identifies the bucket, on the Bucket Conveyor, during
which the bagger sync pulse will be given (the exact timing of
the signal is determined by the Sync Pulse Position parameter
above) during initial startup.
NOTE: The goal of these two parameters is to allow the first
product stack in Stage 4 to be ready just before the
appropriate bucket arrives on the Cartoner Infeed Bucket
Conveyor.
The product should be ready on Stage 4 for between ½ and 1
second before being dropped into the Bucket Conveyor. Any
longer or shorter delay could lead to timing issues that could
cause miscounts. Timing error would build up leading to
delays that, in turn, would cause the Transfer Station to fill up
before Stage 4 could make its drop. This would cause
miscounts in the drop stack.
