Carton Chain
Carton Chain Base Setting Adjustment
The sprockets of the two outer chains (2) may be rotated to correct the base
setting as described below. (The adjustable sprockets are located in the
discharge of the carton chain.)
The four fastening screws (1) must be loosened before turning the sprockets.
They are located between the two sprockets. The sprocket can be turned in the
slot after the fastening screws have been loosened. Move the driver to the mark
for the base setting. (You may use the chain to turn the sprocket.)
The drivers of both chains, on the fixed and variable side of the carton
machine, must be parallel to each other. This position is the same as angle
position 0° in the display.
After you have made the adjustment on one side of the carton machine, check
the position of the fixed drivers on the other side and readjust as necessary.
