Adjusting the Retaining Roller
The purpose of the retaining roller is to support the cartons so that they cannot
tip over into the carton magazine until required.
To adjust the height setting, loosen the clamping levers and move the roller
support to the required dimension on the scale. When the carton supply conveyor
is started, the cartons are moved forward, causing them to tip over the discharge
edge into the magazine.
The centerline of the retaining roller should run vertically over the discharge
edge. The roller should be aligned so it is centered on the carton.
