Carton Conveyor
Carton Chain
The carton chain consists of four chains equipped with flights (1 and 2).
The outer chains(4) are permanently fastened in place (fixed). Their positions
can be adjusted for other setups by the base setting, product feed, flap closer,
and the carton removal conveyor.
The positions inner chains (3) are adjustable. The settings adjust the carton
chain for different sizes of carton.
These two chains, one fixed and one adjustable, form pairs of flights (5) on either
side of the carton machine. A carton is held in place with a fixed shape between
this pair of flights.
The two adjustable chains can be set to Dimension A of the carton by means of a
setting position.
An additional setting position adjusts the carton chain on the variable carton
machine side to Dimension H. The entire variable side moves with this setting.
