Routine Operations - Continued
13. Inspect the quality of the packaged product. Check for properly grouped
products, check for damaged packages. Verify all sides of the carton are
glued properly. Make any necessary adjustments.
14. When stopping the machine, under normal circumstances, use the Stop
button and the production cycle will finish.
15. If someone’s personal safety is at risk or machine damage is imminent,
the Emergency Stop button should be used.
16. Using the Stop button on any machine initiates the stopping procedure.
After the normal stopping procedure is complete, the machine will be in
the Ready mode.
17. When the system is running and all downstream interlocks are enabled,
stopping any machine will cause all the equipment upstream of that
machine to go into Standby mode. When a machine is in Standby mode,
it will automatically start producing product when all required conditions
are met, such as product present, material present, and downstream
ready.
18. The cycle Stop button should be used to initiate stopping production
under normal circumstances
