Set Up and Mechanical Adjustments:
When changing over to a new carton size and if the carton has already
been manufactured, use the sheet that has all of the mechanical adjustments
settings listed on it to adjust the dial indicators and scales.
If the carton is new, measure the areas identified on the carton illustration. Use
those measurements to make the initial settings on the CMK carton machine.
Mechanical adjustments are numbered on the machine. The numbers are located
on dials and scales. The settings on the dial indicators and the scales should initially
be set to match the dimensions measured from the new carton, adjustments may be
required for final setup. The carton should than be ran through the machine in Jog
mode to check and verify the settings. Final adjustments may be necessary.
