Carton Chain
Tensioning the Carton Chain
The carton chain is equipped with a tensioning device. This tensioning
mechanism makes it possible to keep the chain at proper tension with a spring.
Tension the chain:
• Loosen the lock nut.
• Adjust the tension with the tension nut.
Reset the Tensioning Lever:
(This is required if threaded rod length is insufficient to tension the
chain.)
• Relieve pressure on the spring.
• Loosening the clamping sleeve screws. (This loosens the clamping
sleeve)
• Move the tensioning lever to the desired position.
• Tighten the clamping sleeve.
• Tension the spring with the tension nut.
• Secure it with the lock nut.
