Bag Transfers Screens
These screens contain information to operate the Bag Transfer Stations. The
Bag Transfer Stations receive bags produced by the baggers and stacks those
bags with the desired number of bags to be placed into each carton. Each bag
Transfer Station has four Stages. Each Stage has drop gates that open and
close. The drop gates remain closed to collect the appropriate number of bags
and then they open to drop those bags to the next stage. Stage 1 always drops
one bag, as this is the top stage. Stage 1 drops bags to Stage 2, Stage 2 drops
bags to Stage 3, Stage 3 drops bags to Stage 4, Stage 4 is the final Stage and
drops the stacked bags into the bucket on the bucket conveyor. This is the
number of bags that will be placed into each carton.
