Gluing Station
Cartons are closed by applying hot glue on the flaps. This glue is applied through
glue nozzles. At least two glue nozzles are required to be able to close the
cartons on both sides.
Hot melt glue is applied to the lower cover flap through the glue nozzles. Then
the upper cover flap is inserted through guides and pressed onto the lower cover
flap. The flaps are held in a drying zone until the hot melt has cured sufficiently to
hold the flaps closed.
