Product Insertion
The production speed remains the same while the insertion slide moves along
with the bucket conveyor. The insertion slides are adjusted to fit different type
and size of products by means of exchangeable insertion plates. The slides are
adjusted to the center of the buckets. If forces above acceptable settings occur
during the insertion movement, the machine will stop with an alarm fault. When
product is present on the bucket infeed conveyor but a carton is missing, product
is dumped over the end of the conveyor and is discharged on a product reject
conveyor. The entire upper conveyor may be adjusted vertically for different
product heights.
