Checkweigher Feedback Parameters
Parameter Description
Minimum Carton Weight
Maximum Carton Weight
These two parameters are averaged in order to determine the
target carton weight for feedback purposes.
This method allows more precision than would otherwise be
possible because recipe values are limited to whole integers.
Weight Adjust Deadband This value is added to the minimum carton weight. If the
average feedback weight is less than the resulting value the
system will make a correction to the target weight. This is
done to minimize the possibility of the system allowing the
weights to drop below minimum and thus be rejected.
The value is also added to the target weight. If the average
feedback weight is less than this result then the system does
not bother making a correction. This is done to stabilize the
system and avoid making too many adjustments.
Feedback Ignore Window A feedback weight that falls beyond this window either below
or above the target weight is thrown out by the system as an
aberration in order to avoid skewing the average.
Feedback Calculation
Samples
This is the number of samples that will be used to calculate
the actual weights by averaging the feedback carton weights
from each bagger.
