Flap Closers
Flap Closer Drive Belts Tension
The two flap closer disks (4) are driven by toothed belts (3).
Tension the Flap Closer Belts:
• Loosen the lock nut (2).
• Turn the tension screw (1) until the desired tension is reached.
• Tighten the lock nut (2).
• Check the tension again after the carton machine has been running for a
short period of time.
Completely loosening and removing the belt will make it possible to turn the disks
freely. You can also use this feature to perform a base setting. If this state occurs
under uncontrolled conditions, for example while you are replacing a toothed belt,
a base setting must be performed!
