Section 3: Functional Descriptions
This section provides definitions and descriptions of terms, transportation, storage
and potential carton issues.
The CMK carton machine is used to manufacture filled cartons. The prepackaged
product and carton blanks are delivered to the CMK machine. The carton blanks are
then erected and filled with product. The cartons are then closed and sealed.
Food products processed in the CMK must be prepackaged.
