Activate the Machine
Conditions for putting the equipment into operation are:
! Knowledge and understanding of this manual.
! Completed training.
! Finished installation and connection of the equipment.
! Rigorous observance to safety instructions.
1. To power the machine, you must activate the electrical and pneumatic
supplies.
2. Perform a safety check and verify all guard doors are closed.
3. To activate the main electrical supply, turn the Main Disconnect switch to
the ON position.
4. To activate the pneumatic air supply, rotate the air supply handle to the ON
position.
5. Select the desired recipe to load. Detailed instructions regarding recipes
are given in the Operator Controls section of this manual.
6. Press the Machine Ready pushbutton on the Operator Interface station.
7. When the Ready button is lit, press the Jog/Run pushbutton to begin cycling
the machine. If any alarms exist, resolve the alarms before proceeding. If
no alarms exist to this point, press the Stop pushbutton to halt the
operation.
The user should ensure that a safety inspector regularly
inspects all protection devices!
