Replacing Chain Segments
If the chain drivers (1) are damaged or some chain links are worn, replace the
chain segments (2).
If a segment in a chain needs to be replaced, the chain segments in all the other
chains that run in parallel, should also be replaced (Inner and outer chains).
Verify that the tension is equal in all chains and set all adjustment screws
to the same dimension. If there is not enough play, the machine may not
start because of overload. If this happens, readjust the tension of the
chains or clean the chain guide.
The chains are each equipped with a number of chain locks. Only segments
between two locks can be removed for replacement. There is one driver for each
segment.
