Closing Flaps
When the machine stops during production, the closing plate moves down to
close the upper flap. The pressing moves in, pressing plate against the flap,
allowing the glue on the carton to set. These are then released after 5 seconds.
This procedure ensures that flaps of the carton that have already been glued are
closed and sealed. Otherwise the glue would become too cold and the carton
that is still open would then have to be taken out of production.
