Carton Magazine
The carton magazine is loaded with carton blanks that are received from the
carton supply conveyor. The signal to load more cartons into the magazine is
controlled by the filling level signal device.
The stack of cartons is held in position by the guides on the magazine. The
guides are adjustable for new carton sizes.
The height of the filling signal is adjustable. Maximum and minimum filling levels
depend on the type and the weight of the cartons. If the filling level is too high,
the cartons in the magazine may weigh too much and not allow the cartons to be
properly separated, this may cause jams. If there is not enough weight, the
cartons may not be grasped and separated into individual cartons.
