Lubrication
Applying lubricant
The lubricant is applied by the distributor through the dosing nipple (2) and
the brush (3).

(4) Chain
• Dosing nipples have variable size designations. The different sizes allow different
amounts of lubricant through.
• The brushes (3) must be adjusted so that the bristles make contact with the chain.
• Bristles do become worn down and may need to be replaced.
• To replace a dosing nipple, follow the instructions in the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Verify that the lubricant is reaching the inside surfaces of the chain.
• The lubrication intervals must be set according to the working conditions of the machine
(cycle number, product residue, temperature, etc.).
• Do not lubricate immediately before turning the unit off or the lubricant will not be evenly
distributed.
