3 Unknown module type of
the flash program memory
- Switch the supply voltage of the
I/O-IPC off and change it.
- Then switch the supply voltage on again.
4 Error occurred while writing
to the flash memory
5 Error occurred while erasing
a flash sector
- Switch the supply voltage of the
I/O-IPC off and exchange it.
- Then switch the supply voltage on again.
6 The I/O module
configuration after an
internal bus reset differs
from the one after the last
I/O-IPC start-up.
Restart the I/O-IPC by
- switching the supply voltage off and
then on again, or
- press the reset button on the I/O-IPC.
7 Error occurred while writing
to the serial EEPROM
8 Invalid hardware/firmware
combination
9 Invalid checksum in the
serial EEPROM
10 Fault when initializing the
serial EEPROM.
- Switch the supply voltage of the
I/O-IPC off and exchange it.
- Then switch the supply voltage on again.

reading from the serial
EEPROM
- Switch the supply voltage of the
I/O-IPC off and reduce the number of
I/O modules.
- Then switch the supply voltage on again.

EEPROM exceeded
- Switch the supply voltage of the
I/O-IPC off and exchange it.
- Then switch the supply voltage on again.

gateway or mailbox
modules exceeded.
- Switch the supply voltage of the
I/O-IPC off.
- Reduce the number of gateway or
mailbox modules.
- Then switch the supply voltage on again.
