Status Indicator RAPs
008-705 Top Tray Full RAP
The Control Logic has sensed the signal, Top Tray Full (L) +5 VDC.
Initial Actions
• Remove any paper from the Top Tray.
• Unlock the Full Stack Sensor Actuator, so that the Actuator will operate properly.
• Ensure that the Sensor and Actuator are properly installed into the Sensor Bracket.
Procedure
Enter the diagnostic mode. Enter Code [DI-15]. The display indicates a “1”.
YN
Go to Flag 2. Check the wire for a short circuit to ground. The wire is good.
YN
Repair the wire. Ensure that PJ 17, PJ 161 and PJ 167 are properly connected.
Replace the Full Stack Sensor (PL 9.2). If the problem continues, replace the MCU PWB
(PL 11.2).
Actuate the Full Stack Sensor Actuator. The display indicates a “0”.
YN
Go to Flag 1and Flag 2. Check the wires for an open circuit. The wires are good.
YN
Repair the wires.
Replace the Full Stack Sensor (PL 9.2).
Replace the PWB (PL 11.2).
