011-705 Full Sensor RAP

The Sorter Control PWB incorrectly detected that the Stack Tray is full.

Procedure

Remove any paper from the Stack Tray. Access the Digital Input (DI) test from the Control

Panel. Enter code [D0]. Press the Item/Enter button. The display is 1.

Go to Flag 2. Check the wires for a short circuit to ground. The wire is good.

Repair the wire.

There is +5 VDC between J 2-4 of the Sorter Control PWB and GND.

Replace the Sorter Control PWB (PL 19.1).

Go to Flag 1. Check for an open circuit. The wires are good.

Repair the wires.

Replace the Full Sensor (PL 19.3). If the problem persists, replace the Sorter Control

PWB (PL 19.1).

Place 5 sheets of paper in the Stack Tray. Access the Digital Input (DI) test from the Control

Panel. Enter code [D0]. Press the Item/Enter button. The display is 0.

Replace the Full Sensor (PL 19.3).

Replace the Sorter Control PWB (PL 19.1).
