REP 1.3 Top Cover Interlock

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Top Cover Assembly (REP 14.4).
3. Remove the Rear Cover (REP 14.6).
4. Remove the Top Cover Interlock (Figure 1).
Replacement
1. Reinstall the Top Cover Interlock in the reverse order of removal.

Removal
WARNING

1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Rear Cover (REP 14.6).
3. Remove the Developer Fan (Figure 1).
Replacement
CAUTION
Install the Developer Fan so that the manufacturer’s label on the surface faces towards the out-
side.
1. Attach the harness securely when reinstalling the Developer Fan.
2. Reinstall the Developer Fan in the reverse order of removal.
