Initial Issue
006-311 Exposure Lamp RAP
The CCD does not detect any light from the Lamp.
Initial Actions
Ensure that Mirrors 1, 2, and 3 (PL 16.5) are in place and not damaged or blocked with debris.
Procedure
Access IIT Diagnostics from the IIT control panel. Enter code [330-001] and enter a value of 1
for parameter 1. Press the Start button. The Lamp lights normally.

Inspect the Ribbon Cable between the ICM Main and the FLPS PWB (PL 16.5). The
connections are good and the cable is not damaged.
YN
Re-seat the connectors. If the problem persists, replace the Ribbon Cable (PL 16.5).
Ensure that the Lamp’s connector J535, is seated on the FLPS PWB (PL 16.5, item 17).
The Lamp Connector J535 is seated correctly.
YN
Re-seat the Lamp Connector J535. If the problem persists, replace the FLPS PWB
(PL 16.5).
Inspect connector P/J 140 on the FPC CCD. The connector appears securely con-
nected and undamaged.
YN
Re-seat the connector. If the problem persists, replace the FPC Cable (PL 16.3).
Perform the following:
• Replace the Lamp (PL 16.5).
• Replace the ICM Main PWB (PL 16.2).
• Replace the FLPS PWB (PL 16.2).
• Replace the Scanner (PL TBD).
The problem may be intermittent. Check all cable and P/J connections between the ICM Main
PWB and the other components in the circuit (Lamp, FLPS PWB, and CCD). Look for loose or
damaged connectors or damaged wiring. Repair as required. If all connections and wiring
appear in good condition, undamaged, and securely connected,
perform the following:
• Replace the Lamp (PL 16.5).
• Replace the ICM Main PWB (PL 16.2).
• Replace the FLPS PWB (PL 16.2).
• Replace the Scanner.
