Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Top Cover Assembly (REP 14.4).
3. Remove the Copy/Print Cartridge (REP 9.1).
4. Remove the Tension Lever (REP 9.15).
5. Remove the Left Inner Cover Assembly (REP 14.5).
6. Remove the Dry Ink Cartridge (REP 9.9) from the Developer Housing to be removed.
CAUTION
Be careful not to damage the Magnetic Roll of the Developer Housing during the removal.
Be careful not to drop the screws during the removal.
Be aware that the Rotary Frame can turn when the following step is performed.
After removing, be sure to lay the Developer Housing in a horizontal position in a safe place.
7. Remove the Rotary Latch (Figure 1).

8. Remove the Developer Housing (Figure 2).

Replacement
1. Reinstall the Developer Housing in the reverse order of removal.
2. Rotate the Rotary Frame to install the screw after reinstalling the Developer Housing.
3. Check the Developer Spacing (ADJ 9.1).
