REP 1.13 Hard Disk Drive Assembly

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Right Cover (REP 14.9).
3. Remove the Hard Disk Drive Assembly.
a. Disconnect the ribbon cable connector from the ESS PWB.
b. Release the upper and lower tab locks.
c. Slide the Hard Disk Drive Assembly toward the right, and remove the Hard Disk
Drive Assembly.
Replacement
1. Reinstall the Hard Disk Drive Assembly in the reverse order of removal.
2. Adjust the Hard Disk Drive Assembly (ADJ 3.1).
