REP 9.5 Locating Rail

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Top Cover Assembly (REP 14.4).
3. Remove the Copy/Print Cartridge (REP 9.1).
4. Remove the ROS (REP 9.3).
5. Prepare to remove the Locating Rail (Figure 1).

CAUTION
Be careful not to touch IBT Belt, or damage the harnesses or Magnetic Roll surface of the
Developer Housing while removing the Locating Rail.
6. Remove the Locating Rail (Figure 2).
Replacement
CAUTION
Be careful not to touch IBT Belt, or damage the harnesses or Magnetic Roll surface of the
Developer Housing while reinstalling the Locating Rail.
1. Reinstall the Locating Rail in the reverse order of removal.
