Compress the chain tensioner com-
pletely, making sure that the total
length is 40.05 ± 0.5 mm (1.58 ± 0.02
in).
•
Insert the chain tensioner into the
crankcase, being careful to position it
correctly.
•
Place a new gasket between the crank-
case and the head.
•
Place the two dowel pins.
•
Install the head.
