Dynamic Assessment
The Dynamic Assessment display window has dual-functionality, enabling the user to perform
a Dynamic Assessment Test (
Passive Leg Raise
or
Fluid Bolus
), or to view the results of a
Dynamic Assessment Test.
If no Dynamic Assessment Test has yet been performed, the display opens with the controls
for selecting and starting the required test - see Figure 3-18.

The information icon (left) opens Help providing Dynamic Assessment guidance.
To perform a Test, see instructions for Performing a Dynamic Assessment Test on page 5-36.
If a Dynamic Assessment Test has been performed on the current patient, the Display window
shows the Test results - see below and explanations in Figure 5-50 on page 5-54.
Note
Whenever more than one Dynamic Assessment Test has been performed, the display will always
show the most-recent Test results. To view previous results, see Dynamic Assessment Test Results
in Full Screen View on page 5-56. See also Viewing Dynamic Assessment Test Results in History
Mode on page 3-36.
