Choosing a BP Source
To Choose a BP Source
1. Make sure the BP parameter is selected for display.

Refer to the instructions provided in Chapter 3 for selecting parameters for display in the Trends
area, Real-time Values area, Numeric display, or from the Main Menu BP sub-menu, as applicable.
2. Open the BP drop-down menu, then tap BP Source.
3. Select the required option - see example in Figure 5-12.
Setting Internal NIBP Automatic Mode and Adjusting Time Interval
If using the NIBP Module, whenever Internal NIBP is currently selected as the BP Source and
set to Automatic mode, the user has the option to set the required time interval at which BP
measurements are acquired.
To Set Internal NIBP Automatic Mode and Adjust Time Interval
1. Make sure Internal NIBP is selected as the BP Source (see above).
2. From the BP drop-down menu, tap Internal NIBP Time Interval, then select the
required time interval from the displayed list of options - see Figure 5-13.
Internal NIBP measurements will now be acquired automatically in accordance with
the time interval set.
